Tuoppi Kotikalja is made using the traditional fermentation method from barley and rye malt, sugar and water. Malt gives the home brew a toasty taste and a dark color. Malts are made in Laihia from the grain of contract farmers in the surrounding areas. Tuoppi 1,5 l Kotikalja has been awarded the gluten-free product label of the Finnish Coeliac Society.
