"Risella Dark Porridge Rice is a refined, lightly milled rice that contains fiber. Rice goes well with all traditional rice dishes, whether it is rice porridge, which is popular at Christmas, cabbage rolls, Karelian pies or as a side dish. Dark porridge rice has a higher fiber content than regular white porridge rice, but it still makes an incredibly beautiful white rice porridge! Riisella dark porridge rice is gluten-free.
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: X-MAS PORRIDGE FOR 4: 2 dl water, 1 L milk and 2 dl dark porridge rice + 0,5 tsp salt. Boil 2 dl water in a Teflon or a porridge pot, add 2 dl Porridge rice and about 0.5 tsp salt. Let boil for a couple of minutes until the water is absorbed into the rice. Add a litre of milk and cook slowly under the lid, stirring occasionally for about 40 minutes. SIDE DISHES 4 servings: 7 dl water, 3 dl dark porridge rice + salt 0,5 teaspoons. Add rice and salt to boiling water. Cook for 15-20 min. Stir in between. "
