Pickles are made by fermentation with the help of lactic acid .
Lactic acid fermentation is one of the oldest ways to preserve food. With to lactic acid fermentation, the delicious taste of pickles is created without vinegar and sugar.
Use pickles as they are at the dinner ,on the zakuska starters or add them to dishes such as stroganoff, seljanka soup or olivie salad. Rassolnik, or pickle soup, also gets its flavor from fermented pickles.
Tip: also save the broth from the pickles and use it, for example, to flavor soups or sauces.
Ingredients Cucumber, water, salt, spices (garlic, dill, bay leaf). Made in the EU according to a traditional recipe using lactic acid fermentation, which clouds the broth.
