Our carefully selected cashew nuts come primarily from Vietnam or India, which are some of the world's best producers of cashew nuts due to the warm climate that gives the cashew trees good growth conditions. Cashew nuts charm both large and small taste buds with their mild, soft and delicate flavors - which fit well as a snack right out of the bag or as a topping for all sorts of wonderful salads. Cashew nuts obviously taste delicious exactly as they are, but their natural nut flavor is highlighted when they are roasted with a light sprinkle of salt . At our own Risteri in Aarhus, Denmark we have made sure to dry-roast and lightly salt the cashews for you, so you can enjoy them right out of the bag. Dry-roasting means that we have not added oil in the roasting, but that the natural taste of the nuts is highlighted instead. First, the cashews come in a salt bath before we shake them slowly and at low temperatures. We know our raw materials and have an attitude on how they come to their right.
