Curry Madras is a true classic of Indian cuisine!
A spicy blend of tomato, coconut, chili, and aromatic coriander.
The roots of this flavorful dish are in the Chettinad region of South India, where it is made with fresh masala spices. Curry Madras is often made by adding chicken to the sauce, but it also works excellently as a vegetarian dish with ingredients like peas and cauliflower florets. The flavor combination of Curry Madras is perfect when paired with jasmine rice, raita sauce, and mango chutney!
Preparation: Fry chicken/paneer cheese in a pan for about 5 minutes. Add the sauce to the pan and let the chicken cook over low heat, stirring occasionally for about 15 minutes. Unopened packaging can be stored at room temperature, and once opened, the sauce must be kept in the refrigerator and used within 3 days.
