St. Pierre is named after the Benedictine monastery of the same name. Abbaye St. Pierre was founded in 1879 in Assebroek, Bruges, Belgium. Like the monastery beers, part of the proceeds from this beer will be credited to the monastery's charity.
St. Pierre Blond is a Belgian pale ale with a soft, rich and warm taste world. Fruitiness and easy approachability are the clearest features of this beer, but there is also a hint of smoke, wheat and spiciness in the taste.
