"Risella Porridge Rice Organic is a round short-grained, organic rice. Risella uses a unique variety of rice for porridge rice, which makes rice behave in a superior way when making porridge. When using Risella porridge rice, the porridge becomes wonderfully creamy and thick. When boiled, porridge rice grains release starch into milk and make the porridge white and bright. The rice is cultivated in Spain. The product is gluten-free.
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: X-MAS PORRIDGE FOR 4: 2 dl water, 1 L milk and 2 dl porridge rice + 0,5 tsp salt. Boil 2 dl water in a Teflon or a porridge pot, add 2 dl Porridge rice and about 0.5 tsp salt. Let boil for a couple of minutes until the water is absorbed into the rice. Add a litre of milk and cook slowly under the lid, stirring occasionally for about 40 minutes.
SIDE DISHES 4 servings: 7 dl water, 3 dl porridge rice + salt 0,5 teaspoons. Add rice and salt to boiling water. Cook for 15-20 min. Stir in between. "
