Our VAPAA milk comes from farms where cows live in barns and have outdoor access throughout the year. It has been awarded Finland’s first independent ELVI welfare label for production animals. The wellbeing of the cows is regularly monitored according to the WelfareQuality® system. The farms have earned the system’s highest or second-highest rating. VAPAA skimmed milk adds no fat to your diet at all. Instead, you get B vitamins, calcium and protein. Vitamin D has been added to the milk. Our milk is fresh and invigorating. It has not been treated to give it an extended shelf life (ESL). It has been awarded the Heart Symbol of the Heart Association. A Savonian creamery that is over one hundred years old, Maitomaa advocates for more sustainable milk production.
