Foodin's unfiltered olive oil is produced in Crete from high-quality Koroneiki olives through gentle cold pressing – without filtration. Unfiltered organic extra virgin olive oil is a unique, less processed, and "fresher" version of olive oil. The oil contains some of the olive pulp, which makes the oil appear cloudy and retains the authentic taste of the oil. The oil's high polyphenol content is felt in the mouth as a "gentle peppery kick".
Our organic virgin olive oil is produced on a Cretan family farm that has been in operation for 150 years, respecting traditions. On the farm, Koroneiki olives are grown, which have been cultivated for a thousand years and are often called the queen of olive varieties. The olives are gently harvested with brushes without harming birds or valuable trees, without pesticides.
The olive oil is versatile and suitable for use as it is in cooking and frying. Store opened bottle cool and protected from sunlight.
