The base of the Filos olive paste are Greek green olives and Greek extra virgin olive oil as well as herbs. The paste is mashed to be wonderfully flexible, but the slightly grainy texture gives a nice feel. The Mediterranean herbs taste just right alongside the olive's own taste. Acidity and freshness olive paste gets from lemon.
Olive paste is suitable for breads, for decoration and seasoning of boiled eggs, as a dip for vegetables and breadsticks, and with pasta and rice dishes.
Filos 180 g olive paste is packed in a glass jar. It remains open in the refrigerator. Add extra virgin olive oil to the paste if necessary.
