Tilda Butter Chicken is a mild and creamy ready-made sauce, with a flavor profile that's a wonderful blend of tomato, dried fenugreek, and garlic. Butter Chicken is one of the classic sauces in Indian cuisine, and the dish originally came from the iconic restaurants of Old Delhi, where the chicken was grilled in a tandoor and served in a mild, creamy tomato and butter sauce. Tilda sauce is suitable for a vegetarian diet, so if you want to add more creaminess to the sauce, you can add a dollop of butter and about 30 ml of cream. You can also enhance the meal by enriching the sauce with fresh tomatoes and chicken or paneer cheese. Serve the finished dish with basmati rice and mango chutney. The unopened package should be stored at room temperature, and once opened, the sauce must be stored in the refrigerator and used within 3 days. The sauce is ready to be heated, but the pouch is not microwave-safe.
